Ken Savage, was a switchboard operator in Vietnam in 1963. In the middle of the night he got the call that the president had been assassinated. He had to call and wake up the General and tell him. Dad said "The General cursed me up one side and down the other" then threatened him with a world of pain if he was lying. Unfortunately it was true.
